SA sinking deeply slow

Picture by: Petros Rapule from The Citizen

I don't know why people go on strikes at the same time this country is facing a recession.

I understand that the government is not doing much about the economy, but he is trying to do best things for its people. The country is slowly sinking because there are many people who are going on strike,EMS,Doctors, Construction workers, and now SABC all off them wanting a wage increase.

I know very little about the labour laws but most of the people are unhappy about their
salaries and they are also in debt and they don't have money to pay debt. Some of the people
are earning less than R3000 a month. So this is the reason why they go on strike. On the
other hand, government don't have that much power to help them, they can make promises, but
the promises won't last.

Recession should not be used as a justification to underpay ordinary employees, while the big shots laugh all the way to the bank.
